Ministers of the ACT Government have referred to consideration being given by the Coordinator-General for Housing, Stephen Miners, to the proposal submitted by Wesley Mission for an integrated development of MyHome and affordable rental housing on the site in Curtin offered by the Uniting Church.
A letter of 31 August 2023 from Yvette Berry MLA to our President confirms what was said about this on 21 July 2023 by Emma Davidson MLA and officials in a budget estimates committee of the Legislative Assembly.
The proposal which Wesley Mission, the Uniting Church and we have made can proceed only if financial support is provided by the ACT Government, and the possibility of such support is one subject of the current contacts between Mr Miners and senior officials of Wesley Mission.
